First 5 Modoc strives to ensure every child in Modoc County is in an environment conducive to optimal development, and to assure parents and families have the first option to be the primarycaregiver and teacher for their prenatal through age five child.
Along with community partners, First 5 Modoc provides funded programs, services, and connection to critical resources to nuture the physical, social-emotional, and educational growth of Modoc’s youngest residents.

First 5 Modoc is implementing a county-wide Home Visiting Coordination project through June 30, 2022. This project brings together existing home visiting programs, early childhood partners, and community leaders in Modoc County to assess current community needs, experiences, and opportunities for home visiting and early childhood systems. Funding for this project is part of a statewide initiative under First 5 California.
